Shipping games and finishing courses earn the most XP. Your 7-day, 30-day and all-time rankings use the same rewards. Recent boards count rewards on their original earning dates.

1 XPEach qualifying game-page viewBring visitors to your published games. One view per visitor per game each UTC day, after 2 seconds on the visible page. Repeat visits, known bots and signed-in owner visits do not count.

2,000 XPEach approved game shippedEarned once per game when it goes live. Updates and resubmissions earn no extra shipping XP.

1,000 XPEach course completed100 XP at 25%, 50% and 75% completion, then 700 XP at 100%. Each milestone is earned once per course.

5 XPEach qualifying comment or replyFirst 10 per day. At least 20 characters; repeated text earns no extra XP.

10 XPEach qualifying discussion postFirst 2 per day. At least 20 characters across the title and body; repeated text earns no extra XP.

1 XPEach like received from another memberFirst 10 per day across posts and comments. Liking your own content never counts.

Daily limits reset at midnight UTC. Removed content and withdrawn likes stop contributing. Unchecking and completing a lesson again, or removing and restoring a like, cannot generate another reward. Course milestones stay earned after a lesson is unchecked; unpublished or removed courses do not contribute while unavailable. Simply being online earns no XP.

Levels unlock at 5 XP (Level 2), 20 XP (Level 3), 65 XP (Level 4), 155 XP (Level 5), 515 XP (Level 6), 2,015 XP (Level 7), 8,015 XP (Level 8), 33,015 XP (Level 9). Some classroom courses open at a level. Your existing membership access rules still apply. There are 9 levels in total.
